What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy has been practised for thousands of years, and is safe and highly effective.

It can unblock issues that have troubled you for years, and remove patterns of old thoughts and behaviours. It introduces renewed energy, optimism and confidence.

What happens in the session?

I will talk to you for some time before we start the process of hypnosis and you will find your body becoming totally relaxed whilst your mind will remain alert and focused. The more you share with me, the more individualized our session can be which will result in a greater impact. I will help you use your own powerful mind to increase motivation or change behaviour patterns by introducing a trance state. You will remain in control at all times and I will only lead you where you genuinely are willing to go.

There will be a sense of double awareness, in which you allow your mind and body to drift into a distant warm and comfortable world, while at the same time, you will be aware of the chair on which you are sitting. Your conscious mind will be willing to surrender and my main aim will be to put into your subconscious mind positive suggestions which will enable you to overcome your particular problem.

Whether or not further sessions are needed will depend very much on your susceptibility to hypnosis, and on my opinion.

Many clients find it so pleasurable they never want to leave the chair...
